The Coventry City London Supporters Club presented their 2013/2014 Player Of The Year Award before the Sky Blue’s final pre-season game at Stevenage FC.
The supporters club, formed in 1976 for City supporters in London, the Home Counties and the South East had been voting all season for their top three players and Joe Murphy topped the voting taken by Barry Chattaway with five hundred votes which is a record amount for any one player to date.
Callum Wilson was second with 470 votes with John Fleck in third place with 442 votes.
Steven Pressley accepted the award on behalf of Coventry City and the award will be presented to Joe Murphy, who is now with Huddersfield Town at a later date.
