Locally, Nuneaton Borough won 3-0 at Barrow in a Conference North Fixture, Rugby Town beat Team Bath whilst Bedworth drew 1-1 at home to Leighton Town.

All three of our local teams in the Midland Alliance all won. Leamington beat Coalville Town 2-0, Racing Club Warwick won 5-2 at Romulus and Stratford won 1-0 at home to Tipton Town.

The battle to win the Midland Combination Premier Division looks like going down to the wire. Leaders Atherstone Town beat Barnt Green Spartak 6-0 to remain a point clear of Coventry Sphinx who beat Nuneaton Griff 6-1. Coventry Copsewood who face Sphinx in the CET Cup Final at the Ricoh Arena on Monday won 3-1 at Pilkington XXX,But Alveston lost 1-0 at Bridgnorth, Southam went down 3-2 at Shifnal and Massey Ferguson were thrashed 5-0 at home by Coleshill Town.

In the other divisions, Kenilworth Town drew 2-2 at home to Polesworth whilst Lemaington Hibernian lost 3-1 at home to Stockingford. Warwick Town drew 1-1 with Feckenham Reserves whilst on Friday night, Coventry Sphinx Reserves drew 0-0 at home to Worcester City A.
