Locally, the other derby game to take place on Easter Monday in Coventry saw Coventry Sphinx beat Coventry Copsewood 4-1. PJ Gordon scored in the third and nineteenth minute before Adam Kinder added a third for Paul Charnley's side after 24 minutes. A good sized crowd at Sphinx Drive saw Robbie Stephenson add a fourth in the 67th minute. Copsewood who had their manager Scott Furlong bannished from the technical area pulled one back from a Stuart Fraser free kick with ten minutes left to play.

The victory now puts Sphinx a point behind leaders Atherstone Town who lost 2-1 at Nuneaton Griff.

Elsewhere, Nuneaton Borough were beaten 3-0 at Kettering Town,Rugby Town lost at Banbury United and Bedworth United were beaten 3-1 at Sutton Coldfield Town.

In the Midland Alliance division, Leamington beat Westfields 3-0,Racing Club Warwick won 2-0 at Alvechurch whilst Stratford Town drew 1-1 at Malvern Town.

Stockingford drew 2-2 at Handsworth,Leamington Hibernian lost 1-0 at Heather Athletic and Coventry Sphinx Reserves featuring Covsupport sponsored Danny McSheffrey drew 2-2 at Barnt Green Spartak Reserves.
