Nuneaton Borough kept up their bid for promotion to the Conference Division with a fine 4-0 away win at Worksop Town.

In the Southern League,Rugby United drew 1-1 at Aylesbury United whilst in the Western Division, Bedworth United drew 0-0 at Brackley Town.

Moving to the Midland Alliance where it was League Cup day for two of our teams. Leamington beat Coalville Town 6-5 on penalties after a 2-2 draw with former Sky Blue Moreton Titterton and Davis Care scoring for Jason Cadden's side in front of a crowd of 475.

There were only 65 spectators who paid to see Racing Club Warwick beaten 2-0 at Tipton Town.

In a league game, Stratford Town won 2-1 win 2-1 at Westfields with first half goals from Hawker and Poutney.
Coventry Copsewood are out of of Endsleigh Midland Combination League Cup or Willie Knibbs Cup as it is known to many people in Coventry. Scott Furlong's side were beaten 2-1 at home by Barnt Green Spartak.
Premier Division leaders Atherstone Town were beaten again, Jimmy Ginnelly's side went down to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Pilkington XXX. The Adders are now nine points clear of second placed Coventry Sphinx who roared back into the runners up spot with a fine 5-3 home victory over Meir KA.

There was bad news elsewhere, Massey Ferguson were thrashed 5-0 at Dudley Sports, Nuneaton Griff lost 3-0 at Feckenham,Alveston lost 2-1 at home to Shifnal and Southam United lost 2-1 at home to Coleshill Town.

Division One results saw Kenilworth Town beaten 1-0 at home by Mile Oak Rovers. Leamington Hibernian drew 1-1 at home to Newhall United and Stockingford draw 0-0 at home to Northfield Town.

In the rest of the league, Warwick Town lost 4-0 at home to Enville Athletic but Coventry Sphinx Reserves were 3-1 winners at Ettington Reserves whom Lee Knibbs side beat 8-1 last weekend.
