Nuneaton Borough can look forward to taking on Middlesbrough in the Third Round of the FA Cup after a 2-1 win at Histon Town. Former Sky Blue Robert Oddy put Boro ahead in the 34th. Bowden equalised for the Cambridgeshire based side but in the last minute, Moore scored to put Boro through.

Coventry Sphinx closed Atherstone's lead at the top of the Midland Combination Premier Division table to just one point with a 2-0 victory over Southam United. In front of a good sized crowd for their last home game of 2005, Adam Kinder scored twice for Sphinx in the second and fourth minute.
There was more good news for Sphinx with their reserve side being announced as team of the month for November by the Midland Combination.

Last night, there were defeats for both the Warwickshire sides in the Midland Alliance. Marcus Law's Racing Club Warwick lost 1-0 at Boldmere St.Michaels whilst Leamington were beaten 2-1 at home by Stourbridge.

Rugby Town were beaten 2-0 in a league cup tie at Rushall Olympic.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Atherstone Town knocked up after a 3-0 home win over Castle Vale.
