Locally, Nuneaton Borough are out of the FA Trophy losing 3-1 to Farsley Celtic. Leamington won a Midland Alliance Cup tie 4-1 against Rocester at the New Windmill. Richard Adams, Neil Stacey, Nick McFarlane and Josh Blake netted for Jason Cadden's side.

Stratford were beaten in a league game 3-2 at home by Boldmere St Michaels but Racing Club Warwick's game with Biddulph Victoria was called off after a referees pitch inspection.

In Coventry, it was the Coventry Evening Telegraph Cup week. Two ties produced local derbies. Coventry Copsewood beat Massey Ferguson 3-2 whilst Atherstone Town won 5-0 at Nuneaton Griff. Holders Coventry Sphinx are also through to the Fourth Round after beating Bedworth Ex Service 1-0. Southam United were also victors winning 3-1 at Mount Nod Highway.

In the Midland Combination, Alveston were beaten 2-0 at Brocton, Leamington Hibs won 4-0 at Handsworth Utd, Kenilworth Town drew 2-2 with Northfield,Warwick Town were beaten 2-1 by Coton Green whilst Coventry Sphinx Reserves won 2-0 at Heather Athletic but Wellesbourne lost 2-0 at home to Knowle Reserves.

Elsewhere, Avun Jephcott was on target for Ards in a 2-1 victory over Limavady. Another former Sky Blue Tom Bates set up the winner sending over a corner which was converted by Marty Hunter for the Bangor based side's first win after nine straight defeats. Mark McGennis played for Limavady. Julian Joachim scored twice in a 2-1 win for Boston United against Wrexham.
