Nuneaton Borough's hopes of making the Conference North Play-Offs on May 6th at Burton Albion took a dent when they were beaten 2-0 at Stalybridge Celtic this afternoon.

In the Southern League, Rugby Town were beaten 3-0 at home by Kings Lynn and it was the same score at the Oval where Bedworth were beaten by Cinderford Town.

In the Alliance, Leamington's game at Alvechurch was postponed but Racing Club Warwick drew 2-2 at home to Oldbury United.

In the big Coventry derby, it was Sphinx who emerged victorious. The Sphinx Drive based side won 1-0 at Coventry Copsewood who are in the bottom three whilst Sphinx remain nine points behind Midland Combination Premier Division leaders Atherstone Town who won 4-1 at Coleshill Town.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Massey Ferguson lost 1-0 at home to Barnt Green Spartak, Nuneaton Griff beat Continental Star 5-3 at home and Alveston won 1-0 at Pilkington XXX. Southam United home game with Bolehall was postponed.

In Division One, Kenilworth's game was off but Stockingford were beaten 3-2 at Burntwood Town. In Division Two, Warwick Town's game was off. The first leg of Challenge Urn Semi-Final saw Coventry Sphinx draw 2-2 at home to favourites Halesowen Town Reserves.
