Coventry City manager Mark Robins has drafted Leon Lobjoit into his squad to face Morecambe in the FA Cup Second Round tomorrow.

The 17 year old midfielder joined City from Milton Keynes and impressed on his debut for the U21’s at Leicester City where he played for 58 minutes of a 3-2 victory.

The tough tackler, who has some of City FA Cup hero Lloyd McGrath qualities about him, has continued to impress in U21 matches and City Youth’s FA Cup ties against Shrewsbury Town and Oldham Athletic and scored against Birmingham City U21’s recently.

City boss Mark Robins told the Coventry Telegraph’s Andy Turner: He’s a talented boy who the Academy have been tracking for about two years and we had an opportunity to take him from MK Dons so he’s our player.”
