Coventry City manager Chris Coleman called his team's performance in the 1-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers, this afternoon "lethargic".

The City boss, who came in for criticism from some sections of the City support during the defeat which was the third in seven days, told the BBC: "We started today without an edge and that was disappointing.nd that was disappointing.

'I think we started really lethargic and looked tired and I can't say that is because of the Newcastle game because that was on Tuesday but we just started lethargic and I'm not sure about the balance of the team at the minute."

City now have a fortnight off before facing Preston North End at the Ricoh Arena on September 13th. This is followed by an evening trip to Sheffield United (September 16th) before Iain Dowie and Tim Flowers bring ther Queens Park Rangers side to the Rioch Arena on September 20th.

The month finishes with a Saturday trip to Blackpool before a night game at Cardiff City.
