Former Coventry City forward Leon McKenzie has been put up for loan by Kettering Town.

McKenzie joined Kettering in August after being released by Northampton Town at the end of last season.

However after an incident during the defeat against Hayes & Yeading on Tuesday night which saw a fight between JP Marna and Moses Ashikodi, manager Mark Stimson has transfer-listed eleven players.

Both Marna and Ashikodi, who have been placed on the transfer list and are available for a transfer or loan for which Kettering are seeking the paying of a fee and their wages, will, according to Kettering's website, be removed from the transfer list in four weeks if their conduct and performance is deemed satisfactory by the manager.

McKenzie is one of seven players who is available for transfer or loan with Kettering wanting a club to pay their wages in full if they take them on loan.

The list of player McKenzie is on also includes Sol Davis, Phil Ifil, Steven Meechan, Jaime Navarro, Pat Nubissie and Djoumin Sangare and Chairman Imraan Ladak issued a statement saying: "On paper this is the best squad we have had in the six years I have been at the club but on the field it has been the worst. It is down to the players to turn this around and perform to the level their salaries and CV’s suggest. We know they can do it and I hope for their sake they do.”
