Former Coventry City striker Leon Clarke scored for Bury but they were were beaten 4-1 at Southend United in the League One game tonight.
Clarke scored in the 43rd minute after Noel Hunt scored had twice but Southend scored twice through Mooney and Payne in the last fifteen minutes.
The win moves Southend up to seventh.
