Former Coventry City striker Leon Best has joined Derby County on a season long loan.
Best has been surplus to requirements at Blackburn Rovers for some time and was at Sheffield Wednesday last season.
The striker said about his loan move to Rams Player: “I am delighted to sign and be working with Steve McClaren; it is something I am very much looking forward to.
“I believe this in a key move in my career and after how well Derby did last season it is a pleasure to come here and work with the players and management.
“I really believe there is an ambition and a drive here to achieve something, so be part of it is great.”
