Leicester City now appear favourites to sign Marlon King.
The Championship club are being reported as cooling their interest in Yakubu, over his £35k a week wage demands and have switched their attention to King who is out of contract at Coventry City at the end of this month.
King has been offered a new contract by the Sky Blues but there are unconfirmed rumours that it is only for one year, not the two or more that the striker is looking for.
