Leicester City have made a bid for George Thomas.
The Wales U20 international and scorer of that goal at Wembley for the Sky Blues, has left Coventry City after his contract ended.
However, as Thomas, has come through the ranks at City, the Sky Blues will be entitled to compensation.
That is understood to be in the region of £450k-£500k for Thomas who was born In Leicester and his home town club, who have had one of their scouts watch him on numerous occasions, are being reported as having put in a bid.
