Leeds Move For Westwood?

Last updated : 26 April 2011 By Covsupport News Service

According to media reports this morning, Leeds United have been linked with a move for Coventry City's Keiren Westwood.

The goalkeeper, who will be presented with the Coventry City Supporters Club Irish Branch Player Of The Year award on Saturday after the Reading game, is out of contract at the end of the season at the Ricoh Arena.

With Newcastle, Everton, Wigan and Celtic monitoring the situation, The National claims that Leeds have made an approach for Westwood, who needs regular first team football to maintain his place in the Republic Of Ireland national team, to try and get him on a Bosman free transfer.
