Former Coventry City striker Lee Hughes has joined the club where he started his career.

Hughes has left Forest Green Rovers and has signed for Kidderminster Harriers for whom he scored 70 goals in 139 games before joining West Bromwich Albion in 1997.

Hughes told Kidderminster's website: "I didn't have to think twice about coming back - it's like coming back home.

"I've got a lot of good memories from my first spell here and hopefully I can have more good memories this time.

"I wouldn't have a career if it wasn't for Kidderminster Harriers - that first spell was a massive stepping stone and gave me a good base.
