Former Coventry City player, Academy Coach & first team caretaker manager Lee Carsley, has had his last game as Brentford's interim manager.

Brentford beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 yesterday and Carsley who had been the caretaker said: "This was my last game so it was nice to get a result.

"My remit was always to get us back on track and now, with the way we've been playing and a lot of the injured boys coming back to fitness, I can say I've done that.

"I will be staying on to help with the transition before returning to my old role, we have players coming back from injury and are in a strong position."

Carsley will carry on in his role as Brentford's Developement Squad coach as well as a coach with England U19's.
