The press officer for Leamington FC has said that the Conference North club are having their attendances affected by Wasps games at the Ricoh Arena.
Paul Edwards said: "Wasps presence in the city is not just affecting the Sky Blues either.
"We at Leamington FC, are losing supporters who are opting to go and watch the rugby instead.
"I'm sure we are not the only club in the area that is affecting, either.
"Maybe if Coventry City Council had thought it through a little more , they might have recognised the wider reaching effects of bringing a sports team into the area that has no connection with Coventry & Warwickshire."
