The defender will join Crawley on a one year deal on August 1st after his contract at Derby County was not renewed by Steve McLaren.

Leacock said about his move to the Crawley And Horley Observer: : “I’m really pleased to be here. We have got a good mix in the squad of experience and youngsters and hopefully I can make a difference.

“I know League One well and having played against Crawley a few times I know that we are as good as anyone at this level on our day. It’s early days but I think we can have a really good season.

“It looks like a really good squad which the manager is putting together and I’m pleased to be part of it.”
