Alki David has withdrawn his interest in Coventy City.

The Greek, worth a reported £4bn has said that he has seen City's books and described the club as "falling apart".

David told the media said: "After looking through the finances and seeing the numbers, the club is falling apart. "The debt does not tally. Good luck to whoever takes them on."

This leaves Ray Ranson and SISU as the only interested parties. They are currently at logger-heads with City's major shareholder Geoffrey Robinson over finances, which still see the MP come out smiling if the club was placed in administration.
