Last Two Games Have Been A Massive Boost - Baker

Coventry City midfielder Carl Baker feels that the Sky Blues taking four points from their last two matches has been a massive boost.

Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Baker said; “Anybody can see that we’ve been really low on confidence this season,” said the wide man, “but the last couple of games have given us a massive boost. The Oldham win was really important, even though it wasn’t the greatest of games.

“The number of times I’ve said ‘we’ve played really well and lost’ and we’ve had opposition players and managers texting us to say ‘you’re the best side we’ve played all season.’ Paul Dickov probably thinks we’re the worst side he’s played all season but I’ll take that any time.

“It’s about time we got a win like that, and the lads were really buzzing on the way home.Tuesday wasn’t our best performance either, but Dons were a good side who played some really nice football, so it was good to come out of the game with something and four points from two games is a big improvement to where we’ve been so far.”
