Lance Armstrong Gives Support To John Hartson

BBC Wales are reporting that seven times Tour De France winner Lance Armstrong who beat cancer and is riding in the 2009 tour has given his support to former Coventry City striker John Hartson in his battle against testicular cancer which has spread to his brain and lungs.

The Astanta rider also had testicular cancer which spread to his brain and after operations to remove the tumours as well as two months of chemotherapy, Armstrong was able to become a cancer survivor.



"We're all thinking about you, John." said Armstrong (pictured above) before Stage 10 of the Tour De France after hearing the news about the Welsh international.
