Coventry City Ladies Reserves have been awarded a 2-1 victory by the FA after their WPL Reserve Section Division Two North game was abandoned due to the Doncaster Rovers Belles keeper breaking her leg in the 55th minute.

The margin of the victory was the score at the time the referee halted play and felt that there was not enough daylight left for the match to be played to two equal halves.

Coventry City Ladies Reserves officials had expressed concern to the FA about the cost of having to hire a coach, plus pay coaches etc if the game had been replayed.
