Kyle Sent Off

In his second game for Kilmarnock, Kevin Kyle was sent off. The former Coventry City striker saw red in the 68th minute of Kilmarnock's Scottish Cup defeat at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, following a clash with Proctor.

Elsewhere, former Sky Blue Craig Bellamy scored the only goal of the game for Manchester City in a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough.

Callum Davenport, on loan from West Ham, sat on the bench for Sunderland's 2-0 win against Stoke City.

Julian Gray who joined Fulham this week on a permanent basis sat on the bench for Fulham's 0-0 draw at Wigan Athletic.

Jay Tabb is still to make his Reading debut. The former City man was left out of Reading's 0-0 draw with Preston North End.

City are fourteenth in the Championship table following their 2-1 win over Wolves. They are eleven points off a place in the top six and twelve clear of the relegation places.

Doncaster climbed up two places to 19th with a 3-2 win at Blackpool whilst Norwich were beaten 2-1 at home by Bristol City.

Burnley continued their run of good form with a 1-1 draw at Birmingham City and in the Sheffield derby, the Wednesday fans were the ones singing with a 2-1 victory.

Swansea thumped Ipswich 3-0, Derby won 3-0 at Plymouth and Forest drew 2-2 with QPR.

In League One, leaders Leicester were held 0-0 by Oldham Athletic, who had to play Dean Windass in goal after their keeper Fleming was sent off.
