Kyle Loan Extension Looks Dead

Coventry City look likely to have Kevin Kyle back at the club following news that Hartlepool United are unwilling or unable to find the extra cash to make up Kevin Kyle's wages.

City Chairman Ray Ranson has said that Kyle can stay on loan at the League One club but Pools will have to pay a bigger slice of his £10k a week wages than they paid while the Scot was on a month's loan.

Danny Wilson said to the Sunday Sun: "Kevin will be missed because he has done very well for us over the last five games or so. "Coventry want an increase in his wage percentage and we will have to wait and see whether we can afford it. At this stage I wouldn't have thought we would."

Kyle faces an uncertain future as Chris Coleman has stated that Kyle will not play for City again.
