Coventry City striker Kevin Kyle has been linked to a move to Southend United.

The striker was loaned out to Wolves after being sent off twice at Blackpool and a home to Burnley. City lost both of those games and Kyle was blamed by sections of the support for those defeats.

When Kyle joined Wolves on loan back in February, he issued an vicious attack via the media on those supporters and is seen to have burnt his bridges at the club.

Kyle joined City from Sunderland and was signed by Micky Adams. He has a season left on his City contract but could be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
