Kevin Kyle got one over on the the manager who signed him for Coventry City when the Scot hit the winner for Hartlepool against Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

Kyle scored the only goal of the game in the 12th minute and was his third goal for the League One side whilst on loan from City.

Aron Lee Barrett played in goal for Hartlepool whilst Micky Adams started with Andy Whing and Colin Hawkins and brought on Kevin Thornton in the 58th minute for Robbie Savage.
