Coventry City goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has been called up for the Republic Of Ireland.

The keeper had orginally not been selected for Eire's game against Poland at Croke Park in Dublin on Wednesday night, but with former Sky Blue Dean Kiely pulling out after spraining a wrist in training, Giovanni Trapattoni has called up Keiren to join Shay Given and Scunthorpe's Joe Murphy as the third custodian.

Former Sky Blue Robbie Keane, who scored in Ireland's last international against Cyprus has also withdrawn.
