Hartlepool United keeper Demetrios Konstantopoulos has urged the North East based club to let him sign for the Sky Blues who have had a bid of £175,000 turned down.
Keeper Wants To Be A Sky Blue
Speaking to Clubcall, the Greek keeper who is out of contract next summer said: "I am disappointed that the club have stood in my way to stop me completing what would be a dream move to Coventry.
"I am happy at the club, I love the fans, but it is time in my career to move on but unfortunately Hartlepool have rejected the offer when a big club came in for me. I have given my best for three years and feel now is the right time to leave.

"Hartlepool said they would not stand in my way if a big club came in for him so I am very disappointed by the stance of the club to deny me a great opportunity in my career. I am really desperate to leave now.
"Coventry have lost out on another keeper, and I hope that they rekindle their interest and this time Hartlepool will not stand in my way. I really need to move on for my career. I love the fans - I have never had a problem with anybody - this is just an opportunity that has come my way and I am desperate to go."
