Keep The North Stand Open

It's bad enough going to Sixfields to watch Coventry City but I'm one of the few that do and I've sat in the North Stand with about 50-100 fans.

Next season we've been told by Coventry City FC that the North Stand is going to be shut due to the redevelopment of Sixfields. It was stressed that it wasn't because "we are being noisy"

When I phoned Northampton they told me that all four stands are going to be open and you can buy a season ticket in the North Stand.

I then challenged Coventry City about this and got the following response:
"Hi. Currently we will be opening the redeveloped West and East stands for Sky Blues fans next season. Unfortunately, there is currently...not sufficient number of fans to open three stands for Sky Blues fans."

So the North Stand is going to be shut and fans have to move. There's no logic to this particularly given that Northampton Town plan to have the football watching part of their development finished by the start of the season.

Why not keep the North Stand open for those fans who prefer to sit behind the goal?
