Keep Playing The Way I Have Been - Cameron

Coventry City defender Nathan Cameron has been told by his manager Aidy Boothroyd to keep playing the way he has been.

This time last year, Cameron was captaining City U18's before he went on loan to Nuneaton Town. Armed with that experience, the centre half got a start against Portsmouth in the opening league game and has not looked back.

Speaking to the CT, he said: "Three clean sheets out of three is great and I'm pleased about that and the boys are too, so it's good.

"The manager has just told me to keep playing the way I am playing because I think I have been playing well, although I was a little bit disappointed with my performance on Saturday when I gave the penalty away but I felt I recovered well in the second half and that's the main thing.

"Hopefully I can stay in the side. Bar the first half I think my performance was all right and hopefully good enough to keep my place .

"As people can see from my mistake I am still learning the game and learning what to do and that's exactly what I am doing.

"I am learning off experienced pros and hopefully getting better every day in training and in every match that I play and I am just happy to be in the team right now."
