Former Coventry City forward Robbie Keane is expected to be out for a month after picking up a calf injury.
Keane, who is on loan at West Ham United from Tottenham until the end of the season, is now doubtful for the Republic Of Ireland's 2012 European Championship qualifier with Macedonia.
