Keane Double Blast Gives Ireland The Win

Former Coventry City forward Robbie Keane scored twice to give Republic Of Ireland a 2-0 victory over the Former Yugoslav Republic of  Macedonia in Skopje.

With Keiren Westwood still out with a shoulder injury, Ireland again fielded Shay Given and were ahead in the eighth minute thanks to Keane.

Keane, who is unsure of his future at Tottenham Hotspur, scored again in the 36th minute for his 51st international goal.

Ireland whose next Euro 2012 Qualifying game is against Slovakia in September, top Group B with thirteen points.
