Keane A City Old Boy On Target

Former Coventry City forward Robbie Keane scored for the Republic Of Ireland tonight in a 2-1 win over Kazakhstan.

Former City keeper Keiren Westwood let in a Kairat Nurdauletov goal in the 37th minute but in the 89th minute, Keane, now at LA Galaxy equalised and in stoppage time, Kevin Doyle got the winner.

Former Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan (pictured below) and loanee Oliver Norwood were both unused substitutes tonight in Northern Ireland's 2-0 defeat to Russia.

Former Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson was booked in Iceland's 2-0 win over Norway.

Michael Mifsud captained Malta but they lost 1-0 to Armenia.

Chris Coleman's Wales were beaten 2-0 by Belgium.

Meanwhile, a number of City supporters were in Moldova to see England win 5-0.
