Coventry City have paid Everton for striker Lukas Jutkiewicz and the Southampton born player today signed a three year deal.

The Sky Blues are being rumoured as having paid £200k (believe what you want to believe) for the forward, who has played for Swindon Town and joined Everton where he only made one appearance in 2008, after they had their initial season long loan turned by Everton who wanted to off-load the player who is qualified to play for England, Ireland and Poland.

The striker is born in Southampton and was there as a youngster before starting his Football League career at Swindon Town where he scored five times in 38 matches before securing a £1m move to Everton in 2007.

The 21 year old, who has an Irish mother and a Polish grandfather, made his Everton debut coming on as a substitute in a 3-0 win over Sunderland in December 2008 after being on loan at Plymouth.

He was subsequently loaned to Huddersfield Town for whom he made seven appearances and last season, he was loaned to Motherwell, where he scored 11 goals in 33 appearances, after he made an 88th minute appearance for Everton at the Ricoh Arena in the Marcus Hall Testimonial.
