Jorgy Gets Called Up

Claus Jorgensen has been called up for Euro 2008 duty. The Dane, who qualifies for the Faroes Islands through his mother, has been selected for the Faroes for their home game against Georgia on August 16th.

City midfielder Jay Tabb has been called up for the Republic Of Ireland's U21 game against Greece.

David McNamee, despite having a good pre-season for the Sky Blues, was not selected for the Scotland squad gathering on August 14-15 at St Andrews. The former Livingston defender had been involved for the Scottish national side's in the Kirin Cup in Japan back in May. Coventry kid Graham Alexander currenly at Preston North End was selected as was former Sky Blue Stephen Pressley.
