Coventry kid Jordan Clarke, scored his third goal on loan for Yeovil Town.
Clarke, whose future at Coventry City is still to be decided, scored for The Glovers on the half hour mark of their FA Cup Second Round tie at Accrington Stanley.
Alfred equalised in the 64th minute to earn a 1-1 draw and a replay.
