Former Coventry City midfielder John Eustace has left his managerial role at Kidderminster Harriers to join Queens Park Rangers.

Eustace, wil team up with Steve McLaren at Loftus Road and said to Kidderminster's website about his departure; “I’ve had an unbelievable two years here – it’s been fantastic, and I’ve loved every minute of it.

“I’m really grateful for the opportunity that Colin gave me… I am sad to go, but for my development as a manager and a coach, it is a great opportunity for me to work in the Championship and for a manager like Steve McClaren.

“I am grateful for the way the club supported me… the way the lads have played football over the last two years is fantastic, it has been brilliant.”

Eustace has been replaced as manager by former Coventry City Assistant Manager Neil Macfarlane.

He had been assistant to Steven Pressley at the Sky Blues and Fleetwood Town before being sacked and then going with Pressley to  Cyprus to take charge of Pafos FC.

MacFarlane is now back in the country and returns to Kidderminster where he had a short spell as caretaker manager before the club now in the National League North appointed former City U23's boss David Hockaday.
