Coventry City manager Tony Mowray has said that Joe Cole will be fine for Saturday's League One game at Colchester United.
Cole, who celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday, played against Barnsley but sat out the FA Cup defeat to Northampton Town and speaking about him to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Mowbray said: “He hasn’t played for a long time and has to build up his resistance to playing football matches. We made the decision to leave him out of this one but he’ll train next week and be fine for the weekend.
“He’s getting stronger and somewhere along the line we’ll get to a point when he can play Saturday / Saturday / Saturday.”
