Jeffers On Target In Ten Goal Thriller

Shaun Jeffers who is on loan at Cheltenham Town from Coventry City scored his second loan goal for the Robins but still ended up on the wrong side of a 6-4 defeat at Rotherham.



In an end to end game, Jeffers (pictured above), came on a 35th minute substitute and scored within two minutes with a left footed volley from thirteen yards out to put Cheltenham 3-1 up.

However, Rotherham, hit back with Adam Le Fondre adding three goals to his one in the 16th minute and other goals from Harrison and Cresswell had Rochdale 6-3 up.

Jeffers hit the post ten minutes from time which led to a penalty which was missed before Lowe hit a fourth for the Robins in the final minute.

In League One, Gary Madine scored for Carlisle in a 4-1 win over MK Dons whilst Richard Duff was sent off for Exeter City in a 2-2 draw with Bristol Rovers.

Kevin Kyle scored a penalty for Hearts in their 4-0 win at Hamilton.

Robert Ogleby scored for Hearts U19's on his debut in a 5-0 win over St Mirren.

Lauren Delorge played for Roda in a 3-0 defeat at Ajax.
