Jeffers Makes Cheltenham Debut

Shaun Jeffers made his debut for Cheltenham Town in their 1-1 draw at Gillingham this afternoon.



The striker loaned to the Robins by Coventry City for an initial month, came on as a 78th minute substitute this afternoon at Priestfield.

Clinton Morrison who was cheering Crystal Palace staying up at Sheffield Wednesday, scored for The Owls in a 2-0 win against Dagenham & Redbridge.

Jon Stead scored for Ipswich in a 3-1 win at Gordon Strachan and Gary McAllister's Middlesbrough.

Gary Madine scored for Carlisle in a 2-0 win over Brentford whilst Marcus Hall made his Northampton Town debut in a 3-0 defeat at Torquay.

Peter Reid got his managerial career at Plymouth off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory at Southampton.
