The new Jaguar C-XF Concept car will take pride of place at the official opening of the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Saturday 24 February 2007. This is the first time the C-XF will be publicly viewed in the UK.

Geoff Cousins, Managing Director of Jaguar in the UK will be joined by the Rt Hon Richard Caborn MP, Minister for Sport, and double gold Olympic winner Dame Kelly Holmes to officially open the Ricoh Arena, a unique £160 million project that has been a catalyst for urban regeneration and economic development within the local community.

This event is taking place as part of the 'Made in Coventry' celebrations. Geoff Cousins Managing Director of Jaguar in the UK commented: "This stunning new concept from Jaguar is another step in the right direction for us. We are very proud to be revealing this car for the first time in Europe in Coventry, where it was designed and built."

Daniel Gidney, Chief Executive of the Ricoh Arena, said: "Jaguar has a proud and long history associated with the city and it seems fitting that its Jaguar C-XF Concept car is to be unveiled in Coventry. "We feel privileged that Jaguar has chosen the Ricoh Arena to let everyone see the car for themselves. "The vehicle caused quite a stir when it was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show and I, like countless others, can't wait to see it.

"It is apt that such an outstanding piece of design and engineering will be on show at the arena which has vastly improved the standards of facilities in Coventry in the corporate and leisure industry."
