Sky Blues Academy Manager, Richard Stevens told the club website: Jack’s been at the football club from the age of six or seven.

“He was one of the early boys when I came in and he’s always been a high achiever through the academy years.

“He has played as a central midfielder, attacking midfielder, wide midfield, he has had a lot of experience in the academy across the pitch.

“The game now at the top level it is a lot more versatile and lot more flexible, there is a lot less fixed positioning.

“Players have to be flexible in positioning and across the pitch in and out of possession which Jack has shown he can do that over the years.”
