Coventry City Caretaker Manager Richard Shaw has said that he has no idea as to who will be the next manager of the Sky Blues.

A decision is expected on Wednesday and Shaw told the Press Association after City's 2-0 defeat at Tranmere Rovers: "I am not concerned at all about the job. My only concern is the fact that we got beat by Tranmere after having the better chances.

"My focus is on the results and I have not thought about anything else to be perfectly honest. I have no idea what will happen about the job.

"I've no idea whether I am on the shortlist for the manager's job. I am just disappointed about the result. We can't keep coming off after every game and saying the same things, but I am so disappointed with the last 10 minutes because we had played very well up to then. We had more chances than Tranmere throughout the game, we just didn't take them.

"The players need to be strong for each other and start battling away and getting the results. We have been beaten by a team we more than matched."
