Loanee Jamie Bailey has said that he has come to Coventry on a 93 day loan from Derby County to play first team matches.

Speaking to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter, Bailey said: "Mark Robins is a well respected manager who wants to play the same style of football that I like to play, on the deck.

"I knew there was interest there and when Robins put his points across and I just thought I'm going to take this.

"My job is being a footballer. I didn't want to just sit there at Derby and pick my money up. I wanted to help another team out if I could.

"I've come here to get first team action and I wanted to come to a team that can play football and are looking to go places.

"Obviously that isn't quite showing in the position we're in at the moment, especially when you look at the stature of the club, but from what the gaffer was telling me this was the right place to come and play football."
