Coventry City Captain Carl Baker is being quoted by The Daily Telegraph as finding the situation the club are in, following the events of Friday when the CVA was not signed, the club were docked ten points for not coming out of administration and Otium Entertainment Group were given the Golden Share by the Football League as "heartbreaking".

Speaking to Tom Prentki and Jeremy Wilson, Baker is quoted as saying: “I can’t believe that two companies can’t get together and get it sorted

It’s such a shame for everyone involved. “It’s hard to take."

Speaking about the vast majority of the support not going to Northampton to watch the Sky Blues, Baker said: “They don’t want to travel out of the city which is fair enough. If there’s not going to be any fans there, it’s going to be difficult.

“We’ve got to be realistic now. We’re probably going to end up fighting a relegation battle.”
