"I have been here seven years now and I am just taking every day as it comes because you never know in football," said Doyle to the CT.
"You can be here one minute and gone the next, but I enjoy it here and love the club and I have done ever since I first put on the shirt.
"Ideally, I would love to stay and finish off my career here but it doesn't always work out like that and things change from day to day, week to week.
"I have had a great time at this club and the only thing I haven't enjoyed is that sometimes the seasons haven't worked out the way I planned at the start. But I would love to be part of a successful Coventry City side. Unfortunately so far I haven't been, but you never know what might happen."
