It's Been Frustrating On The Bench - Jutkiewicz

Coventry City forward Lukas Jutkiewicz has said that it is frustrating being on the bench.

The summer signing from Everton has lost his place to Marlon King and is now only playing a minor role in matches.

However, Jutkiewicz, who has scored four goals this season, remains upbeat and speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference, he said: "Doyler is a perfect example of how to be professional, wait for your chance and grab it with both hands when it comes and I hope to do that.

"It's been frustrating being on the bench because we all want to start and we all want to play every game and I'm no different.

"There's alot of games over Christmas so hopefully this will be a chance to make a case for myself to start again and show why I think I should be in the team but the boys have been doing well so it's just a case of waiting for my chance.

"The manager is really good to be fair. He's got an open door policy and you can go and talk to him about anything because he's always willing to listen.

"But at the same time I think it's important to be professional, keep your head down and work hard so that when the time comes I'm ready to take my chance."
