It's A Positive Point - Dyche

Watford boss Sean Dyche felt that his side picked up a positive point in the 0-0 draw against Coventry City this afternoon.

Speaking to the Press Association, Dyche said: "They came with an obvious game plan to sort of lull the game and we huffed and puffed first half and then second half improved considerably and really took the game on.

"We caused enough to take the lead and then nearly got our pocket picked by a couple of breakaways from just a long ball down the pitch.

"That would have been disappointing but to be perfectly honest in the grand scheme of things, 18 points out of the last 10 games, the way we're going is the right way.

"I always mention we don't consider ourselves the real deal or the finished article, there's plenty of development for our young players and none more so than young Britt (debutant Britt Assombalonga).

"They're fighting and sometimes that can sort of draw the feel of the game.

"Overall it's a point, it's a positive point and it's a clean sheet and we carry on continuing the building process."
