The defender broke his foot for a second time whilst training with Crewe Alexandra but is hopeful of going back out on loan.
"The gaffer wanted me to go out and get games for a month," said Hussey to the CT. "I was really looking forward to it. I got to Crewe and everyone made me really welcome but it was only my secodn training session with them when someone accidentally stamped on my foot and as I pushed off, I felt it go again because it felt exactly the same as it did when I did it the first time.
"That was two or three weeks ago now and although my foot is in a protective boot I have already started my rehab. I am able to use the bike in the gym and do upper body work and in a few more weeks I will be off crutches and I am sure it won't be too long before I can start running again.
"I have sat down with the physios and talked about how we can do things a little bit differently this time and as the manager said the other week it is a question of getting my head down and getting on with it.
"I expect I will go out on loan again and I would like to go back to Crewe. I am not a stupid boy and I know that I can't expect to walk straight into the first team here. The boys have been doing really well this season and I know I need to get competive games in before I can challenge here."
